The Ambassadors Club celebrated International Women’s Day 2023 in the presence of Ambassadors, Honorary Consuls, ACI Honorary Members and Holon Institute of Technology (HIT) President and team. Three women received the club “Woman of Valor” award for their important contributions to women empowerment. Among them was Woman of Valor recipient Mrs. Neta Blum.
Yoram Naor Consul General presented the Certificate of Recognition and Appreciation for “DigitALL: Innovation and Technology For Gender Equality” to Woman of Valor Mrs. Neta Blum. By founding the “AT” Program to push more girls into S.T.E.M programs in Israel, she serves as a significant role model for hundreds of high school young women as the future generation in technological leadership. Blum was assisted by many scientists who volunteered to aid in training the high school students. She’s also head of cybersecurity in the Ministry of Defense.

The other Woman of Valor recipients included:
Adv. Ms Ayelet Razin Bet Or, Director of the Government Authority on the Advancement of the Status of Women, Ministry of Social Equality, for her contribution in promoting gender equality with an emphasis on the prevention of violence against women.
Dr. Maly Danino, CEO of Nitzan Association, for her contribution in eradicating social media bullying through the B-Friendly Program – an A.I. technology to detect and to treat girl and boy adolescents at risk.

A minute of silence was also held in memory of the eight women killed since the beginning of the year.
